On January 9, 2025, Amvesindo’s board members and representatives took part in an exciting startup pitching event organized by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office at Shangri-La Jakarta.
The event was divided into two parts: the startup pitching session and the networking session. In the pitching session, 20 startups from Hong Kong showcased their ideas to a panel of esteemed experts, including Andreas Surya (Partner at Kejora Capital), Aditya Hadiputra (Principal at MDI Ventures), and Edmund Carulli (SVP of Investment at BNI Ventures), representing Amvesindo members.
The networking session featured discussions on strengthening ties between Hong Kong and Indonesia, with a focus on technology and investment. Amvesindo leaders Eddi Danusaputro (Chairman) and Donald Wihardja (Vice Chairman II) played an active role in these discussions, underscoring the importance of collaboration between the two ecosystems.
