On July 31, 2024, Amvesindo hosted guest from the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office (HKETO), held at the BNI Ventures Town Hall. The objective of the meeting is to get some first-hand information about the latest fintech development in Indonesia and to explore potential collaboration opportunities.
In this meeting agenda there are sub-agenda including :
1. Overview of fintech development in Indonesia : the latest fintech ecosystem as well as the development of different subsectors (e.g. payment, wealthtech, insurtech, digital assets, etc) in Indonesia from the venture capitalists perspective; and
2. Development of specific fintech subsectors: the business models presented by 3 investees from portfolio Amvesindo members, represented by Cermati, Amartha & Privy.
On this occasion, the delegation from Hong Kong was led by Mr. King LEUNG (the Global Head of Financial Services and Fintech of InvestHK, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region) while Amvesindo was represented by Eddi Danusaputro (Chairman), Andreas Surya (Deputy Secretary General), Dennis Pratistha (Deputy Chairman I), Donald Wihardja (Deputy Chairman II), Rama Mamuaya (Deputy Chairman IV), Lugas Prancafitri (Head of Membership), Kahfiya Hasbi (Head of Business Alliance), Dian Noeh (Head of Media & Marketing) and Alvin Evander (Member of Team Vice Chairman II).
